NASHVILLE, TN—New Haven Records announced that celebrated television and Broadway personality Kathie Lee Gifford recently taped an episode of the Daytime Emmy Award-winning Dr. Oz Show that is scheduled to air nationally on November 26, 2018. The interview spotlighted her new children’s book, “The Gift That I Can Give” (Thomas Nelson) and her recent New Haven Kids’ project, the Gospel Music Association Dove Award-nominated musical The Little Giant, which is based on the biblical story of David and Goliath. Kathie Lee, the three time Emmy-winning co-host of the fourth hour of TODAY with Hoda Kotb, taped two segments for Dr. Oz. In her interview, she shares that God had already given the young shepherd boy everything he needed to defeat Goliath. David had a relationship with a living God, not a religion. Kathie Lee then compares the story of David with her new children’s book. “The Gift That I Can Give” illustrates that we’re all made with special gifts from God that are unique to each of us. Kathie Lee reflects, “I believe God created each of us for great things. If God is the creator of all that is seen and unseen, and if I believe that I am created in his image, then I’m obviously a creator as well. In fact, I believe that’s what we were made to do—to create, to use our unique talents, our stones, to bring His shalom to the chaos of the world.” The Dr. Oz Show is in its tenth season and features segments about health and wellness hosted by cardiothoracic surgeon and Columbia University professor, Mehmet Cengiz Öz.
