CHICAGO MASS CHOIR KICKS OFF SPAIN TOUR & GEARS UP FOR BRAND NEW SINGLE RELEASE

Nashville, TN – The multi-award winning Chicago Mass Choir is set to spend the Holiday Season in the picturesque country of Spain, as the renown musical entourage will tour 14 cities and perform 15 concert during December. This exciting tour marks the Choir’s first trip abroad since 2019 for the two-time Grammy and Dove Award finalist. 
 
According to CMC President Feranda Williamson, the 2023 Tour, which marks the group’s 16th trip abroad, will feature many songs made famous by the Choir over the years, as well as a special tribute to the late, great BB King. “It has been truly a blessing to be able to enjoy so many tours abroad,” Williamson states. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share our music ministry with our supporters in Spain as we close out this year. We will pay tribute to BB King by including many of the spirituals he recorded in our repertoire. We are so thankful to God for another opportunity to share the music ministry of the Chicago Mass Choir, and we are looking forward to a wonderful trip.” 
 
The trip comes just as CMC and New Haven Records is enjoying the success of the re-release of the Choir’s version of the memorable Christmas classic Joy To The World, which was shipped to radio, as well as iTunes, Amazon and all other streaming platforms just in time for the Christmas Season. Chicago Mass Choir is recognized as one of the top Gospel Choirs in America today, and this single marks the first Christmas song to be released with New Haven Records.
 
Founded by James Chambers in 1988, the Chicago Mass Choir has achieved worldwide notoriety, producing 17 recordings and receiving numerous honors and accolades, including the 2017 Stellar Award for Traditional Choir of the Year, as well as a Stellar Award nomination for Traditional Album of the Year for their latest recording, My Soul Says Yes. 
 
New Haven Records President, Ken Harding, has announced that longtime fans can expect a new recording in 2024 from the ever popular CMC. According to Harding, the debut single from the upcoming album titled “Greater Is Coming” recording will be made available in January. “The new single, ‘He’s A Wonder,’ is classic CMC. We know that their supporters and radio will be thrilled with this upcoming release.”
 
The single will be made available via all streaming platforms in January.
