Bio

The Chicago Mass Choir is a component of the ECC Music Workshop, which was organized by the late James C. Chambers in 1988 in Chicago, Illinois. In 1994, the ECCMW/Chicago Mass Choir torch was passed to Dr. Feranda Nero-Roberts, who had been a founding member, featured soloist, longtime colleague and close friend of the group’s beloved founder.

The choir consists of dedicated members from various denominations, including ministers and evangelists who have made the Word of God foremost in both their music and their lives.

Internationally acclaimed for their powerful praise and worship ministry, the Chicago Mass Choir has released more than 14 projects and numerous garnered Dove, Grammy, and Stellar Award nominations as well as Chicago Music Awards.
